I'm not a huge bread lover never have been. We can have a loaf of bread here for a good two weeks , but I will be the first to admit I love sandwiches once in awhile.

I fixed me my Butterball Turkey Italian Sandwich today and it was yum yum.

My mom got this for me for Christmas and I use it all the time now for my sandwiches.   It really presses the bread flat, and toasts the bread also.  Another good thing about it , you dont have to use butter to toast.   I spray some Pam on it and it works wonders.

The bread comes out so flat now  and toasted.  Thought I would share for the ones that like to eat sandwiches also .

Thank you!

We were talking about getting a panning press just yesterday.

Now that I don't eat much, and can live on leftovers for days, my husband has been eating more sandwiches for dinner.
I will fix meatloaf or meatballs for me and eat off of it for a week.
He likes more variety.

I saw a grilled sandwich recipe that I had to try last week.
It was a little Pesto, sliced tomato and fresh mozzarella on rye bread.

To die for!!! I fixed 1/2 sandwich using 1 slice of bread and it was more than enough for me.

Sometimes, nothing beats a grilled sandwich!!!

Kath,

I just love mine its worth getting .  I love Italian Subs one of my favorite subs of all times.  Well we both know that is really high in sodium and not good calorie wise for us and not to mention all the fat .

I found at Kroger's a couple of weeks ago made by Butterball Turkey Italian Sub Starter.  It's amazing !!  I put a little bit of light Italian dressing on it and it taste exactly like a Italian sub , but much healthier because it's all turkey.  Still a little high in sodium so when I know I'm going to eat one I really watch my sodium for the rest of my meals.

My son loves the grilled cheese sandwiches on it also.  Its worth the money !!
