Does anyone take baby aspirin?

My regular doctor told me to take them at night  as I begin a new exercise program.  I plan to talk to my surgeon to see what he thinks tomorrow.  I will not begin until I talk to him.  But just want to get a consensus on if anyone is taking them.

Thanks

I did until last Summer when I. Found out I had pepticulcers.

I resolved that issue, but no more aspirin for me.

I asked my WLS this question and was told it was OK to take a baby aspirin with my band , my regular Dr said for Me not to take one every day, but every other day, (nothing to do with the band) of course ask your own what they suggest.

NSAIDS are not advised. I have had a few Drs. try to prescribe them for me, but I just don't want to take a chance on making things worse with my band!

I take 2 81mg every night, because of my family history.  I also have high blood pressure (controlled by medication) and high cholesterol (controlled by medication) that my PCP calls a recipe or a heart attack.  After a 50lb weight loss I thought I might be able to drop some of the meds.  But not so far. I still have 20 to 30 pounds to lose so who knows, maybe some day.

I take four  81mg every morniing.  I am on coumadin and a reg aspirin.  I figured it might be easier swallowing the smaller pill.  Have had no problems.
