 Hi Bette-
I remember you from back I the day.  Where did all the other 5 yr plus banisters go?  ShellBell? WorkInProgress? Beth the teacher?

You look awesome as ever!  You were always an inspiration to me.

I am looking to get back on track...hoping to find inspiration here.

Thanks for the note.

ShellBell, if she's the person I am thinking of, had a revision. WorkinProgress and Beth I haven't seen around in awhile; they may be over on the Band Grads board . . .

Susan you might check in on Steinburg group on FB. They have several GA bandsters that are very happy with their bands...........so far. Very nice group of ladies!

Good morning Susan,  I have had my lap band for almost 5 years.  I lost 107 pounds and have done well with no problems.  Being this far out, there are things I need to tweek and improve upon, but basically I have kept all the weight off.  I am generally positive and would love to be support buddies.  I hope your day goes well.

    Hello Gayla-
"I lost my weight with my band, but I keep it off with the help of my band and walking.  "

I love this quote in your blog!  The band does help get it off doesn't it??  It's up to us to fid the way to keep it off.

I have found that I let matters of life get in the way of exercising and I've gone a bit astray.  I am getting back on target and will not let anything get in my way.

You have a wonderful day!

Susan

Positive support is always a good thing :) sadly so many of us come less and less for the same reason as you.  We are still here though, Hope things are going great for you :)

Thanks for the note. Things are really good in my life and in general.  I have no complaints... I just need to stay on track with my eating and I will be fine,

Have a great day!  It is beautiful here already.... A little chilly, but a spectacular day!

Yes very nice here too :) I am in the same boat about needing to stay on track. I did great for a very long time and then got slack...I can blame this or that...but when it comes down to it...

Its Swoosh's fault! It is my responsibility to make good choices and just need to continue to do that :)

I spent SO much time on this forum before I had my surgery and for 6 months or so post-op. But things have turned so negative here, I am always hesitant to come back. It's always nice to see an occasional positive post and to see some long term happy Bandsters, you are what inspired me in the first place. So thank you!

How awful for you to have to READ about band complications. Those of us having band complications are so insensitive.
