I hope Carnie Wilson checks out the forum before getting banded

My surgeon states that people that band over RNY do not have any greater success than just with the RNY....the band is not going to make her pouch smaller it will just knaw at it...ouch....I am glad I am not with a band anymore....

carnie wilson was on the doctors today saying she already lost 32 lbs. and believing this is it. the answer to her weight lost problems will be gone cause she will have a small pouch and eat tiny. ????? oh well I guess we can dreamm..

So true! It will work for her temporarily.........I think it is kind of scary to think of additional scar tissue around a RNY pouch though! :-(

 Im 3 lbs from goal.  Plus I have no appetite and I have malabsorption.  The best surgeons in NYC are doing it, you think they are wrong just bc your surgeon said so?

Heather you are BOB right? How long ago did you have RNY?
