Changed the way I look at buffets!

Just spent a week in Las Vegas and of course the casino had a great buffet. I was having such a hard time in restaurants because it was so expensive and no small or kids meal. So we ventured to the buffet and they let pay the kids price. I loved it because I could pick and chose the right foods for me! It was great. I got today baked fish every day and vegetables. Who would have ever thought.<br />

I know what you mean!  I used to get so excited with the prospect of going to a buffet or all-you-can eat place.  Now it's just a big waste of money and I generally order off the regular menu.

I haven't been to a Buffet since I had my band, except for one Birthday party.  I agree with Lisa, they are just not worth it anymore.

I went to a buffet last year my family had their reunion at one.  I figured if I'm not paying then I will go and nibble for $10.  And that's what I did.  I ate all meat...I had a little beef, a little chicken...just nibble, nibble, nibble. 

I felt the same way until I asked to pay the kids price and it was well worth having the choices on a small plate for $4.95! It never hurts to ask for the cheaper price.

I don't think it is something I will do very often, but now I know I can handle it.

 I used to love them, but not anymore.  I prefer to order off the menu I don't eat enough to justify the price and tend to get a little overwhelmed just thinking about it lol
