I am four weeks out and i do not fill the effects of my band any more.  I used to get full extremely quick but now I am hungry a lot sooner.

I measure my need for a fill by

1) can I go 4-5 hours between meals after eating at least 3-4 oz of solid protien.
2) am I gaining after eating what I am suppose to and working out
3) am I really  hungry or am I just thirsty

Edited to say

Call your doctor Monday and ask about fills.

Mine would not give the first fill any sooner than 6 weeks after surgery, but other doctors do sometimes give them sooner.

What has happened is that the swelling from surgery has gone down and therefore you are feeling less full.

Try to keep to the amounts of food, types and frequency you were told to eat and please call your doctor's office for guidance.

This is normal.  Best of luck to you.

I am scheduled for my first fill on my 4 week follow up. Can't wait. I have been hungry all the time and probable eating too much as I haven't lost anything since week one but I haven't gained either so happy about that.

  Heaviest wt. 235- surgery wt-203

(Fallen trying to get back on)      Current wt= 215.
