No restriction and still have burning in my throat

So my surgeon unfilled my band a few weeks ago b/c I had been getting really bad heartburn. Now the heartburn is gone but sometimes after I drink something about an hour later my throat starts to burn! Plus I have no restriciton whatsoever. I have an appointment to follow up with him next week. I want to revise to the sleeve. Any one out there convert from band to sleeve? If so how is your progress?

Most bandsters do seem to revise to VSG. You'll probably get more responses tomorrow.

Have you tried prevacid or zantac? Ask your doc about those. They may help you.

I can only tolerate chewable antacids.
