Moving on to solid food
I had a band over bypass 4 weeks ago and will be moving on to solid food on Saturday. I was wondering if you all could provide me with some foods other than protein (got that covered) that I will be able to eat that will go down and not get stuck. I am not much of a vegtable eater and don't really cook as I work 70 to 80 hours per week. I would appreciate as much feedback as possible.
If you are going to do alot of frozen meals since you dint cook you really need to watch it because those are the worst foods for you to eat trying to lose weight.
I eat anything I want but in moderation and how often I eat certain foods. Pasta, Pizza, things like that I eat them foods once every two weeks or once a month. It really depends. Most of the time if I fix spaghetti for the family I will eat something else. Pasta was never a big thing for me anyways. I could take it or leave it .
Everybody is different though what I can eat , or what somebody else can eat you might not be able to. I eat alto of fruits for snacks . Oranges and bananas.
If you follow the thread by Mari what are you eating today you can get ideas what everybody is eating. Most of us eat the same foods as we did before just not as big portions :o)

Well, I mostly ate protein and veggies.
You say that you already know everything about protein and don't like veggies, so I probably can't offer you much.
I ate Greek yogurt for breakfast many days (still do )
Small piece of fruit as a snack or a piece of string cheese
I ate tuna or chicken or egg salad with some whole grain crackers for lunch, with sliced cucumber or tomato
Fruit or strong cheese for a snack
Meat and veggies for dinner

Do you have a Trader Joe's grocery in your area? I will frequently pick up the Italian Turkey Loaf, I'll slice up and wrap 2.5 ounces and put it in the freezer for a quick meal. I also like the Chicken Asada. I can get 6 or more meals from the loaf and 4 or so from the Asada. I also made a baked ricotta which can again be several meals. It's nice to have a meal at hand. Oh, and Trader Joe's has a good canned chili - beef, chicken and turkey which has a good fiber, iron, etc and low in fat.
