Is my band too full?

I just had my band filled for the second time last Thursday and I am finding that I am having a hard time eating. Whenever I put something in my stomach I get a lot of pain for less than a minute and then it is fine. I chew my food very well and make sure that I take small bites (sometimes very small bites) but even with that I still get a lot of pain. It feels like my stomach is upset and I end up burping a lot. I can eat anything surgery, even doughy donuts, and some fruit but everything else is painful. Is that what it feels like when the band is too full? Or could it be something else? When I got my fill I had this PA who didn't seem to know what he was doing and kept stabbing me and pushing down on my stomach and port site and I came away with severe pain in my side from it even after having a lidocain shot, though the pain went away in a couple hours. Could my stomach be irritated or maybe even injured from that?

My stomach always took longer than some to heal from fills even tho My doc was gentle and never took more than one stab at it. Some of us just are more sensitive. If solids are difficult try softer foods for a few days(no not donuts!) I usually had to do mushies for 3-4 days before slowly going back to solids
Also you may be eating too fast and swallowing air which adds pressure ergo the burping. Try making sure each bite is completely swallowed and down before taking another bits. If it continues call your doc and see about a small unfill, sometimes it only takes a very tiny unfill to make all the difference.
