pain med question

 OK, I'll probably catch some crap for this, but I'm going to ask anyway. I am having surgery tomorrow afternoon, and my nerves are a little antsy and am wonderng if I would have and adverse effect tomorrow in surgery if I have a dose of my liquid pain meds tonight to help me sleep?

Personally, I wouldn't. It is normal to be nervous about surgery. Once you get there and are prepped and ready to go, you will be excited. Just think how much sleep you will get tomorrow and after the surgery as you recuperate and are taking the pain meds then when you should be taking them.

It will be ok.
