I don't really understand. You think your band is "working" b/c you got stuck??? You can get stuck and still not have proper restriction/green zone. I get stuck at times. The band can be very unpredictable. It can tighten at any moment for no particular reason.

I get what you mean-- sometimes it feels like there is nothing there to restrict you, and then...BAM! Stuck, and you are reminded that it is stil there.

That was actually happening to me a lot over the last few months. I ignored it and was not losing anything, because I could (and would) eat crap because it was going down. But I got a fill for the first time in 6 months last week, and since then, I am actually restricted, not fooling myself into thinking I am!

There is a huge difference (to me, at least) between feeling really, truly restricted and getting stuck a lot. They are not the same thing! I am feeling awesome with the new restriction. I am not getting stuck because the restriction is focing me to go a lot slower and be a lot more mindful. It was harder before because I was hungry enough to forget to eat slowly which was triggering stuck episodes all the time.

Hope you feel better from your stuck event-- they are just no fun!
