I had that exact problem and they add just a tiny bit I think I am at 4.25 or something like that and it worked. Have you tried that?

The problem is that your body changes constantly. There might be swelling and then it goes down... and it affects the way you are able to eat.
It's better to have the band adjusted more loosely than tightly, in my opinion. It's tough to find the "perfect" spot due to how much our bodies change in the course of a month... a day, even, sometimes.
Good luck!

I really hope the swelling goes down soon. it has been 12 days now since my last fill. i just hope my body will be as patient as i am since i cant eat anything. to get the sugar i drink tee with sugar but i cant eat anything.
it has never been like that before where i cant eat anything. when it was too tight i was able to eat maybe half a joghurt or ice cream at least.
Its just hard and i never thought i would be having this many problems with it.

Your fill giver apparently don't know what they are doing...have you considered seeking a new surgeon for your aftercare? Also you need to provide some input when getting a fill....some people GET FILLS AND DON'T NEED THEM AND END UP TOO TIGHT...I am not saying you are one of those people...but sometimes when we are at our sweet spot we think that we need more saline.
You need to evaluate if you need a fill and if YOU ARE DOING YOUR PART in this....
If you are not losing weight with the band sometimes a fill is NOT the answer, you can't just keep filling the band and assume weight will drop effortlessly...THE LAP BAND DOES NOT CAUSE WEIGHT LOSS....unless it is dangerously too tight and that will be from dehydration and not really from real weight loss and thiss approach will eventually damage your body and cause slippage.
If you are truly doing YOUR PART of exercising, and drinking about 8 glasses of water each day, and eating lean proteins of about 2-3 oz and you are still getting hungry right after meals, then you proceed with a fill and ONLY add tiny increments like .1cc at a time and NOT MORE...this way you can ease up on your sweet spot...your fill giver should NOT be giving you more than that otherwise you will never get your fills right.
Good luck

hi there and thank u for your reply :)
thats what i was thinking..why cant he just fill half . he either fills it to 4,5 or when its taken out again its 4 which is really really too loose.
i must also say i dont exercise much lately and i also know the lap band does not make u loose weight if u dont do your part..
i am not too sure if i can get a different surgeon since our insurance is with tricare and i have to go where the army tells me to go...
in germany they always seemed to find the right setting but still had to get some total unfills due to infections i had to take antibiotics.
