1st Band Anniversary
Well friends, today marks 1 year today that I had the band placed. so far I have only lost 50-52 lbs. I am very upset w/ that number, however that is 50lbs that I would have still had on me a year ago. I am thankful that I had the band placed and even a year out I'm still learning every day.
I have dropped from a 24W pants to and 18W (due to having junk in the trunk I can't get into regular 18) and from a 3x to an XL....I love putting on one of my sweatshirts from last winter and noticing how baggy it is (which is okay by me, I love baggy sweatshirts and yoga pants on cold a winter day)
I will admit that I still like to hear to this day, "wow is that all you are going to eat?!" I hope to have another 50-52 lbs off by next March!
Thank you for all the support and time that everyone has given me to help me on this journey. It has been so helpful!
Thank you all!
Jamie

Jamie,
You should be proud to be 50 pounds lighter than you were.ast year.
If you are like me, you were probably gaining a pound or2 a month .. So, you not only have lost, but you have stopped gaining.
Slow and steady gets us to the same place .... And helps learn how to eat for a lifetime.
Stay the course, my friend.......you are doing a great job!

wow you should be very proud of yourself, my 1 year anniversary was Feb 16, 2012 and I've only lost about 35 lbs. I get so discouraged sometimes and I wish I would have had the gastric bypass. I'm trying to stick with the diet and excersise, but I keep loosing and gaining the same 5 lbs!!! good luck to you...
