3 days until my Lap-Band surgery!

I am considering lap band. Curious just how do they fill it?

 happygirl01, There is a port that is connected to your band that they attach to the mussle wall on your left side next to you stomach.  When it's fill time 6 weeks after surgery your surgeon numbs the area where the port is and then inject some saline into the port that goes into your band.

Had the same nervousness before surgery. It went great and I feel great. You will do fine!

As to the fill, I just had my first fill last Wednesday and was more nervous then the surgery. It was very easy!

 I'm having my surgery a week from today. I'm a little nervous, but mostly of failure on my part. I to am on my liquid diet (started today). I am misserraabblleeeee. I have to admit, I cheated and had a few handfuls of honey nut cheerios. I feel like I'm the only one who has done the liquid diet and cheated. I just have to keep in mind that it is not forever.
