"Which Band" Comparison

Banded October 2008. I lost 43 pounds, but quickly regained all but 13 pounds. 
I have not had any problems with the band. Unless you consider not losing a complication.
For those that feel like the band has not worked for you, or you just couldn't work with the band, which band do you have?
I'd love to see how many there are for the Lapband versus the Realize Band.
I, myself, have the Lapband.

I had the Lapband in 2005 which helped me to Realize I needed Gastric Bypass. LOL

I have a lapband, I have had my share of problems with my band tightning up my doc said it was from allergies (which it was) I had never had allergies till last year. I had a complete unfill for a few months(my choice) and have slowly started to refill. So far so good I have had no problems. I had no prblems with tightning the first 2 1/2 years.I had a 20 pound gain from the time I started having trouble till I started having fulid put back in. I am happy to say I had a fill last monday and have lost 5 pounds this week. Hope you get your answers.

I have had no problems with my Realize band.

Dropped 130 pounds in 18 months ...... No plateaus, no stalls .... Just consistent weight loss ... Fast at first and then slower as there was less to lose.

Just had my second plastic surgery procedure (arms and breasts in Nov of 2010 and tummy last week).

No regrets.

Mine was a lap band (Allergan) they may as well have put a rubber band around my stomach for all the good it did. I really expected more than a 20 lb loss!

I was banded 5 years ago, lost almost 100 pounds, zero complications.

I have a French MID-band.  Couldn't be happier.  In Canada, we have access to bands other than just the lapband or realize bands.

 I'm just starting out, but I have the Realize band. No concrete data as far as wt. loss.
