head hunger

I know I am not hungry but my head is telling me I am. I know its from boredom. Any advice to handle this?

It helps me to have a list of 25 things to do besides eat.

I put one on my fridge and one on my pantry door and I have to do something on that list before I reach for food if it is not mealtime.

Mostly, if I just get some water and starts something to distract myself, the feelings go away within a few minutes.

I drink a cup of coffee w/sugar free creamer,  chew gum, go for a walk or shop on ebay.

If I get that way I get some carrots and some light ranch dressing and munch on that . At least its healthy for you and a good way to get your veggies in for the day. I eat lot of carrots that way makes a great snack food .
