Looking for doctor in Denver area

I just moved to Golden and am desperately in need of a fill.  I had some issues with sudden tightening and had to have a total unfill several months ago.  Then my doctor moved and I got complacent about finding someone else in my area.  Then I found out I was moving soon, so I didn't bother.  I knew I had gained some weight back, but had my head in the sand to how much it actually was.  I stepped on the scale this morning, did the math, and broke down in tears.

It's been 3 1/2 years since my surgery and after losing 130 lbs, I've gained back almost 70 in the last year.  I've still been following the rules, but with my band being loose ... I've been eating too much.  Combine that with not exercising regularly, and I'm miserable.  My clothes don't fit and I feel like a slug.

I'm getting back on the bandwagon, but I need a doctor!!  Please help with suggestions, and please let me know if there's any "don't go to XXX".

Thanks!

Welcome back..I don't know of any doctors in Denver area but I sure can realate  to the tightning and unfill. I had trouble last May had a total unfill and regained 20 pounds after being unfilled for about 6 months. Just stared back with the whole program finally fill like my band is helping me again. Good luck in finding a Doctor I will ask around and see if any one I know has any info.

Thanks Jodi!  I should have nipped this in the bud when it was only 20 lbs.  I can make all the excuses in the world, but it falls on me being complacent.  I have an amazing man in my life now and he loves to cook!  Unfortunately, I love to eat.  He knows my history and my entire struggle, but it's not easy.  He's learning to change the way he cooks ... less fat, less carbs, and leaner proteins, but it's difficult.  He's a red meat and potatoes man.  LOL  He's never been overweight or had issues with food.  He loves me and he says he doesn't even see the weight gain.  How can you not notice 60+ lbs?!  I think he's just trying to be kind.  I can't even comfortably ride my bike anymore, which was an activity we really enjoyed last summer.  It's been 80 degrees here this week and none of my lighter-weight clothes fit.  It's time for action ... time for a fill!

I agree, Finding a doctor and keeping your band adjusted is key. I put off fills for the last three months due to fear of my band tightning up again(it was miserable)But finally told myself I have a band,  its time to use it and went back to the doctor. You will be able to get on track with the help of your band. You did a fantastic job and will do it agian now that you  have your head back in the game. You will be back on that bike in no time. Hang in there, its never to late to start again.

Yes they do. I think once a month. I don't attend that one because I'm a kaiser patient but I did see it on his web site. He always takes the time to listen and does not hurry you out the door.
