Amazed and a bit confused

As you all know my band journey has been less than desirable and I'm not a big supporter. However in the last 2 months I've lost 20 lbs with no effort whatsoever and an empty band. No I'm not bragging at all because it wasn't the band or my hard work this time but my pulmonary doc put me on a new med that acts like prednisone but doesn't have the weight gain with it, in fact one of the side effects is loss of appetite. It is so effective that I would literally forget to eat if I didn't make time for it. Plus for an extra bonus it helps keep my lungs more clear than anything else has. After 4+ years of hard work and desperation I'm seeing a possibility of weight loss. I've had to get new pants before an embarrassing event occurs. I'm so thankful for this after the dissappointment of the band and years of frustration. So maybe the band didn't work but God has provided another way for me. I'm gonna continue with my healthy eating and maybe even be able to get some exercise in if my lungs cooperate. One door closes, another opens!

That is great news!  If you were on steroids before, no wonder weight loss was so difficult, band or no band.  I'm glad to hear that, even more importantly, your pulmonary problems are better controlled.

Now, what is the name of the drug and how can I get some?
