XPost: for Pitbull & Tattoo lovers
I was thrilled and honored to be part of Bully Breed Rescue of CT's "Pitties-N-Ink" fundraiser last night. For an $80 donation, I got a glorious piece of artwork that will be with me forever, and I got to help dogs in need at the same time.
Pits get such a horrible and undeserved rap (****ty owners and breeders deserve the bad rap), and I dedicate this ink to my two 2011 fosters: Xena, who touched a nerve and Jif, who touched my heart.

I'm not into tattoos but I love pits. I agree that their bad rep comes mostly from human owners who train them to attack and from breeders who breed them to be aggressive. Our Peach Pit (R.I.P.) was a sweetheart.
