Approved, Sleeve in my future!

I just got off of the phone with my surgeon's office. I was told that my insurance approved the revision to the sleeve!! I am so happy about it. I am not a band-basher.....just feel like it has been a pain for me a lot of the time.

My band has brought me to a much better place in my life, and I will be forever be grateful for that. For those that have very little issues with their band, I am very happy for them, and hope for continued success.

I will get more information on Friday. I have a feeling my surgeon will require two surgeries...one for removal and one for the revision. He had mentioned that when I had to have my slip repaired...that IF he did a revision to RNY, it would be two surgeries. So, it probably won't happen anytime soon.

I am very excited and hoping that with my new tool, I can finally reach my goal weight!

Awesome news.....you have gone through so much and I am happy for you.....lucky that your insurance will do that!!!!!!

Thank you, MIchele! I am very fortunate that I have good insurance, My doctor's office said it my company's version of the health insurance that allows it, normally the insurance company would say no. *whew* So happy!! Thank you for your support!!
