After 19 months, I made it to ONE-DERLAND!!! I am so thankful my my little band!!! 23 lbs to go!

5.0 cc in a 10cc lapband (four fills) 1 unfill of .5cc on 5/24/2011.
.5 fill March 2012. unfill of .25cc May 2012. Unfill of .5cc June 2014.

Still with my lapband with no plans for revision. Band working well since

last small unfill.

HW: 267lbs- size 22-24 LW:194lbs CW:198lbs Size 14-16

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!! You give me hope! My struggle has been so slow that I was beginning to feel like a failure. I have to keep telling myself that I am not perfect at this weight loss game (yes it feels like a game at times) and that I didn't gain all this quickly, so losing it will be slow.

I cannot wait to see Onederland!! Would love to be your friend on here! Wynell

I just added you, Wynell (Love that name,btw). Thank you! Yes...I have been and am a slow loser. My journey has been like a gradual down staircase with many landings (plateaus) along the way.....but I never let the plateaus get to me too much. (at least after the 1st one). When I wasn't losing lbs though, I was losing inches so I quit worrying about the plateaus.

Can't wait to see you get to Onderland too :):

Congrats Jo! I remember how good that felt!

Now when I reached Onederland I was a size 20, so I was nowhere near goal. It's so amazing how much difference height and body type make in weight distribution! I am now 140 but that for me is a size 12. If I could just grow taller I could be in the single digits, lol.

Thank you, Maria. I know what you mean.. If I got down to 140, I would be way toooo bony...too much muscle packed on over the years won't allow me to get that low. You should be very proud of your work, however you did it! Your last photo shows you look wonderful. (btw: i read where you posted you can't wait to get your band out. You mean when you get a revision, right? I'd be afraid to gain all my weight back if my band were gone).
