Is this your first broken bone?  I was 39 years young (lol) when I had my first broken anything.  I went my whole childhood and young adult life without breaking a bone but then made up for it in one rainy afternoon by breaking both legs and 4 ribs.  I was happy my arms were okay!!  I hated to have nurses do things for me....but I got over it and kinda missed it when I started doing things for myself again.

damn..I went and made this about me...love you swoosh...hate to see you with a broken wing but I bet you will have no shortage of little signatures on your cast!!!

Hugs! I'm glad you shared! Besides. If anyone did that I did to Jean first.  And yours sounds much worse than mine lol one arm but can still walk :) I broke wrist on same arm years ago getting my baby our of house as it burned to the ground, but I did get all three boys out! Praise God!

we had fire alarms...but we were in a mobile home at the time ...fire spread so fast it was seriously down to the frame in 10 mins...thankfully my boys jumped when I yelled and the older two ran out on their own,  the youngest (yr and half) had gone back in after a power ranger.....  Power ranger didnt make it....but my boy is in living room here at home right now :)  (being a sassy teen...... but here none the less)

just keep swimming,

actually no cast for me.... the break is right next to the elbow so its just brace and wrap stuff.  Have to go back Monday to confirm that we can do without cast, she said as long as doesnt get worse and black bruise doesnt spread more....so right now I sit and poke at comp with one hand and take my happy pills :)
