Great Day Today 1 SV and 3 NSV's!
Hello,
I just wanted to share a couple of recent NSV I had today plus a scale victory!
I decided to weigh myself this morning after not having eaten very well this weekend and lo and behold I was at 260.0!!! Then it hit me... I have lost a ton of weight, not literally, but 60 pounds so far! It was the first time that it actually occured to me that I was gaining the upper hand in this battle and I will win it!
My NSV were even better to me. First on Sunday I went out and ran around with my six year old son and played soccer with him! I mean I actually RAN! We must have jogged about 1/2 mile dribbling the ball up and down the field and having a blast. It was the first time I have ever actually run around with him and that feeling was priceless! I am so happy that I decided to lose the weight while he is still young enough to remember dad playing with him rather than dad watching him play. No my goal is for him to only remember playing daddy and not fat daddy.
Second while getting dressed this morning I put on my new belt and I had to use the last hole to hold my pants up! Guess it is time to go shopping for a few things.
The third happened at work today! I received my first compliment on how much weight I have lost. I work in a building with 2-3 thousand people in it and a lady I vaguely know, but we say hello everyday as I pass her desk came into the breakroom as I was getting my morning coffee and told me she just wanted to say that she has noticed how much I have lost. She also said not to let it go to my head but she just felt like paying me a compliment! It felt really good and it made me feel proud for all of the work that I have done so far.
I just felt like I wanted to share these small victories that individually would have most likely gone unnoticed or at least un appreciated, but combined they made today an absolutely outstanding day!
Hope everyone else is have a day as great as I had!

Congrats! another thing to make your day, your son is getting active with you! May he never have to go through this struggle because you will be a great example for him in eating healthy and keeping active! I realized that the other day when my 2yo started exercising with me the other day.
