Crazy question i am considering the lap band. I think it would be a perfect too for me. My question/fear is when they weigh you in the office can you keep you underclothes on. my fear is standing on the scale with a audience naked (Iknow it is crazy)

Except for when I was born, I have never, ever, in any medical setting (doctor's office, hospital, surgery center) been weighed in the nude. That only happens in the privacy of my bathroom!

If a medical professional requires you to be nude when weighed, I think they're out of line, and if they require you to do it in public (in view of office staff and/or other patients), it's time for you to say, "No thanks" and walk out.

Not only did I keep underclothes on, I kept ALL my clothes on during weigh ins. Don't worry... I have never heard of any doctor making you stand naked on a scale in front of an audience! I'd be outta there, too!   I'm uncomfortable weighing myself naked when I'm by myself, even!

I have always been weighed with all my clothes on.
However, I do insist on taking off my shoes. Every ounce counts!
