Started WW---
So I started WW last week. today was my first weigh in day, and I flippin GAINED 2.6 lbs. WTF....How does that happen? I mean COME on. I have even uped my protein, and followed the rules. The only thing I can see that I am doing wrong is that i can't seem to get in 38 points a day every day. Its kind of hard some days. Even still, a gain of that much. TOM isn't near so I can't blame it there?
I don't know? Any suggestions? I will be a year out 3/23 and I have 8.5 or 9 cc in my 11 cc band. I truly don't feel I need another fill, but I'm so damn frustrated. I have been on a plateau for about 5 mths, so I thought this would jump start things.
I won't give up, but its sooooooo maddening!
suggestions, please!!

What about exercise.... You didn't mention.
That could help the plateau. For me fiddling around with food intake (unless I'm really misbehaving) doesn't really help. From what you mentioned it sounds like you are doing everything right food wise. I imgine fluid intake is good too.
Don't under estimate the power of exercise. I have lost 150+ lbs due mainly because of my exercise routine. And don't just focus on cardio mix in some strength training too.

I agree with PP ..... too high carbs. I have been doing WW on and off for a few years; I modified my points from the start. In my opinion 38 seems too high and I weigh 220 at 5'6, but even when I was 240 I NEVER would do 38 points. My suggestion is to continue WW but pick high protein low carb meals/snacks and you will see the scale move. I give myself 30 points daily and one night a week I go out to dinner and don't even count points. It works for me , I have been losing 3-4 pounds/week.
Thank you everyone for your posts.
I see my NUT 3/6. My last doctors appt they wanted me to keep a months worth of food logs for the NUT on 3/6, but SOOOO help me, if I see this NUT and she tells me, "well you didn't have bypass so I'm not sure what I can offer", I will punch her lights out! LOL....
I agree VW, I get 38 pts. Holy man, the last time I did this, I was 264 and got 30 pts. 38 seems very high. I have been trying to stick to high protein stuff, so I will continue with that and lower my points maybe. I think I will finish out this week w/ 38, just so I don't switch mid-week, and then start next week w/ 30.
Thanks again everyone!!
