I am 6 years out. This has been a great journey. Lot 145 lbs. The last year I have had enormous stress and turned to bad eating habits. When I am stressed my band shuts me down from eating and I turned to soft caloric foods. I have gained 30 pounds over the last 1 1/2 years. I need advise how to start back and deal with the stress.

I use Dexatrim Max for up to a week of the" Getting Back On Track " phase. It gives me the control I need to make the u-turn.
Dealing with stress is hard when you don't have the proper tools in your tool chest. What works for me is a hot soak in the tub with, my IPOD,candles,a neck pillow, bath salts, and a cold drink. I have been known to have three of these" Stress Soaks " in a day for my fibromyalgia flairs.
Goodluck

I think the key thing you have to accomplish here is to find a way to manage your stress, once you learn how to manage your stress, you will learn to make healthy eating choices. If you are grabbing foods that are quick and easy because you are stressed, then you are eating foods that soothe you.
Comfort eating is hard to get control of, and is what brought all of us to where we are today. There are many things you can do about this, but first I think you may need to seek out the help of a therapist who is experienced in dealing with the sensitive needs of the obese and formerly obese person.
In the meantime, you could take the first step by limiting the amount of unhealthy choices you bring into your home, and buy plenty of items that are WLS friendly and easy to pack up and transport in your purse.
Good luck.

I feel like I'm starting over too. I'm having difficulty accepting the lifestyle changes I have to make to loose the 25lbs I gained last year.
I'm going back to the basics...seeing a nutritionist again, adding protein supplements to my diet, etc...
I think this is probably the best way to get things under control.
