Here is a pic of my band during my recent UGI, you can see the liquid in the pouch above the band, he said a slip will show the pouch sides larger than the band. I always thought my port was above my band, I guess not. LOL You can see the fluid pass through the band, too. No slip!

Thanks, Sue. I still thinks it's interesting to see what the band looks like inside of us.

That's cool! Sometimes when I look at my own x-ray images, I can't even tell there's a human body in them, never mind a band!

I agree, Jean, thank goodness he pointed out the outsides of my band. I even thought my liver was my stomach. LOL

Thanks for sharing that Mari.  I've not had an xray yet, it puts it in perspective better for me than that plastic demo sitting in the doctor's office.

In a galaxy far far away...lol  Oh wait, that's Star Trek.  nevermind.

Unfortunately I suffer from kidney stones and have to get X-ray several times a year. It is so cool to be able to see the band and the anatomy around it.

I had a chest x-ray once and my port and tubing showed up.  The tech let me look at it on the screen, it was really neat to see it in there.
