Band Miracle
In April, I will have been banded 5 years. Zero complications.
Without a doubt, getting the band has been the best thing I have ever done for myself.
In 5 years - I have lost almost 100 lbs. I'm not skinny, but I am a normal sized woman.
I can shop in normal sized stores.
I fit easily in any chair - often with lots of room to spare.
I am 56 years old, and am living life better than ever. I feel healthier, stronger and fitter than I did at 30.
I have done things I could never have imagined - like skydiving.
Incredibly, I have an olympic dream - not London, but maybe Rio in 2016.
Last year I qualifed as an international umpire and officiated at my first World Championships in Poland.
And next week, this girl, the least athletic person you could meet.....will be competing herself.
It's just in my age category, but I have never trained so hard, ever.
Without the band, this would never have happened.
Height - 5'6" French MIDband: 13 fills, current 8.7ccs - capacity 12 ccs
It's always nice to hear someone is doing well! 
It's not a miracle silly... you did this. You worked hard and you deserve to glow! Congratulations on an awe inspiring job well done. I wish you luck in your current goals. What is it your training for exactly?
