Not deactivating but......

   Bored with all this!  I have both taken from and given to this site for almost  six years. I trusted it! Now I don't trust it!

I am not deactivating so if anyone wants my wls support, PM me. And if OH decide to listen to their members, someone tell me!

We will miss you and hope you return soon but I do understand. I'm still debating but so far I'm gonna stay and warn new folks of the down side of the band. You take good care of yourself and pop in once in awhile.

 Before you leave can you tell the rank and file what OH has done to offend you?
Your avatar says something about Facebook, is there an issue that we don't understand?
Rather than walk maybe you could recruit our support. I think most of us don't even know what to complain to the powers that be about.

Obesity Help is currently taking whatever posts, blog entries, etc. they find "interesting" and moving them to their VERY PUBLIC facebook page where anyone can read them whether they have *liked* Obesity Hel*****t. A lot of people don't care for the cross posting to facebook, especially without their knowledge or consent. Obesity Help has promised, as part of their Terms of Service to NOT do this... and they have broken their own rules, seemingly.



That is the problem, in a nutshell.

I think it's underhanded, personally, but I also went on TV to talk about my lapband surgery, so it doesn't really affect me that much.

Also, Kate has been discussing her objections openly, but all of her posts are being moved off the main boards to the off topic, unmoderated, rants and raves board. If you are interested and can get there (some ppl have had problems), you can read about it there.

Sorry to see you go, but totally understand. I'm considering the option myself. I have been pretty appalled at how OH has been treating your posts.

Thanks for all of your support! I know you'll be missed, but those who stay can direct those in need to find you via PM. And maybe we can hope OH will come to their senses soon.
