Hi Everyone,
Its been a while since I've visited the boards. But wanted to swing by and say hello and check out some posts and show some support. I was banded in April of 2011 and got off to a very very slow start and initially was disappointed.
A few glitches and some hard work (and really getting my head in gear) and after really checking myself and getting my behind in action and a 3 fills later (one minor one today) I'm proud to say that I am down 30 pounds as of today. I've been working the heck out of this band and exercising and watching what I eat and tracking my food carefully.
Much love and peace to everyone out there considering surgery, asking about it, finalizing their paperwork, or just beginning to research. As many of you have supported me after an initial RNY in 2004 and a band in 2011, I say do your homework and choose any surgery that you feel comfortable with and agree with for you.
Good Luck everyone, much success as you continue on in your journey. I will be working my band out for real!
Heather
