If you're worried about B12, it's way easier to just take an OTC supplement.

If you have low B12, its probably NOT due to your band.
If you have normal B-12, there is no benefit in energy level to a B-12 shot except for maybe placebo. (but if that works for you then what ever - gotta love placebo effect!)

We should be able to eat a balanced diet with our bands. The only general recommendation is a daily multi- vit. If you feel you might be lacking other nutrients, check it out with your doc or nut.

Edited to add - it is more usual for us to feel MORE energetic as we loe weight! Energy levels should not be diminished by our new diet.

Highest 290, Banded - 248   Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006.  Regain of 28lbs 2013-14.  ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

They scratched those from my after care orders because it's needed for gastric bypass. Us bandsters just need regular old multivitamins whether they're chewable, gummies or pills. Along with a balanced diet of course.
