My Band Is 4 Years Old Today! (long, but with pics)

I know that I am really late, but I have not been on here in a very long time.  I wanted to tell you Happy Bandiversary!! Sorry I am late.  You look great.  I am glad that you were able to overcome your challenges.  I am celebrating my 3 years today an have been fortunate enough not to have dealt with any issues so far.  However, I must admit, it is a challenge and you must be mentally ready to face it.  Congrats again!!

Thanks, Mercedes!!  Wow, 3 years for you too?  It flies by.....and amazingly, you just get settled in and so used to a band, you forget about it alot.  Congrats on your bandiversary and your success!!

Thank you for posting! You look amazing and very happy that you posted the truth about the band! I will be banded 4 years in September, and am glad I did it, and love what it has done to help my health.

I am having problems with gas and burping, so I will be calling my doctor tomorrow to go for a compete unfill until I can figure out what is causing so much discomfort. I can't drink after eating, sometimes up to five hours, or I have very bad pain.

I think everyone who is thinking on having the band should read your post. I to would think about the sleeve if I were to do this again. Thank you again for such a informative post!

Long time, no see!!  Good to hear from you.  I hope your gas and burping is nothing serious.  I too, am thinking of getting some fluit taken out.  I am trying to do mainly only proteins for a few weeks and I am having trouble,  It's frustrating.  ARGH.  I hate to get some taken out, as I am afraid of the hunger coming back.  My band keeps the hunger away for right now, unless I go 5 hours or so without eating.  Of course, nothing takes head hunger away.  ha ha

I just want to say you've done an awesome job and are a true inspiration and thank you for your words of encouragement a few months ago when I was losing my mind by being too tight and hoping for a slip. I had 1 cc removed right after the 1st of the year and was prescribed some nexium to help with the reflux and soreness.
