no resistance!!1 still trying to eat as i used to but im left a little hungry
Do not be scared... I had my first fill yesterday after having band over bypass on May 23rd. The reason being my surgen told me after my follow ups didnt see the reason to fill since the weight was coming off. I don't really know how to think abt what I'm feeling.
Been drinking nothing bu****er w/ those Mio drops or whatever (sooo good) and had sugar free jello and chicken buillion. I know the dr. said next I can have protein shakes and then stuff the consistancy of apple sauce but I'm nervous abt not feeling any resriction. What do all of you eat and stuff after each fill? I read on one of the posts you won't feel it possibly for like a week or so?

had my first fill yesterday and it sucked wont be doing that again unless it is necessary!!! it does sting and it fells so weird ;/ no exercise for me for 2 days and on liquids for 2 days... My surgeon say to start with the stages again so liquid mushies and then real food again.. glad im already feeling fuller :)
I'm sure once this fill does it's job, you'll be going down the scale again. Did your doctor give you a dietary guideline booklet for your procedure? I certainly don't have oatmeal listed any where in my book, except in Stage 5. I've really done well by sticking to the turkey, ham and chicken light deli meats, light yogurt, sugar free puddings and eggs. A few things I've done that might help...because I have a family, I'll buy two of those Costco cooked chickens. The family will have it with the usual potato and veggies, but I'll have mine, 2-3 oz, with just veggies, no potato. Then I'll take the left over chicken and add it as extra protein in my soups or just put it in a container and pick at it for a snack during the day.
This morning I also made these little muffin size quiches. Low fat turkey sausage, egg and egg whites, mushrooms and scallons for flavor, a pinch of low fat cheese...90 calories! Awesome! I made extra to microwave later this week!
good luck...I'm sure you'll be feeling great after this fill.
