What do you wear at the gym?

My tummy "flaps" a bit when I run. I worry if I can hear it so can the person next to me and it causes me not to want to run. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem and if you do what do you wear to help with it. I was thinking some kind of control panties but I have never found any that are comfortable. I need to be comfortable when exercising.

I think your right, control panties would probably help, but would be uncomfortable. Try not to be self concious- just think if you keep up the running you won't have that stomach for long! Keep up the good work!

First of all congrats for running. About the person next to you forget her or him. Each person makes their own noises and smells. With that said I wear yoga pants. They are almost like a second skin since the show every bump. I used to wear a big shirt ti cover the look! now i can't because the extra material in the bigger shirt gets in the way. They hold you in a bit. I agree with the last post before you know it the extra skin will not be there too make noise.
Great job!

Yoga pants and a lightweight shirt...my secret was always wearing my waist trimmer. I bought it at Kmart for under $20 and I got a large one so that it covered from under my chest to my hips. It took a few times to get used to it but I love it...makes you sweat more fat off while holding it all in! Warning though...it's so gross when you remove it! LOL

I wear my enell bra, champion leggings and a underarmour compression shirt with a tshirt over.  That way NOTHING moves...

nothing like the sound of flapping tummy skin to remind me just how much I want a tummy tuck

grrrrrrr

lol

I would try some mid-length Assets (they are the Target brand of Spanx -  much cheaper, made by the same company).

get the ones that go from your waist to just above your knees --- then wear some capri length sweats/yoga pants ---- the Assets should keep you all firmed up and make the exercising easier.

I bought an under armor compression tank top to wear to help control the jiggles :)  I just threw a big loose fitting T over it in the beginning so I didn't look lumpy to others.  I think being self concious at the gym migh be one of the worst feelings in the world!! Nothing  improves your work out like feeling like everyone is staring at you ughhh, lol!!

Thanks everyone! I will try one of your suggestions. Maybe the Target stuff and Yoga pants.
