Do you have a swimsuit that is too big?

Hey Folks!  In my quest to swim my weight off, I had a great idea: collect useable swimwear & distribute it among those who want to start swimming!

I haven't figured out how I can pull this off, but I will try to figure out how to pay the postage for swimwear to me, then anyone wanting a certain size or suit will have to pay the shipping to them.

If you have suits you are happy to part with & give another person the opportunity to swim, please contact me!

Great idea, when I was losing weight quickly I was in a new suit every month...it got expensive AND hard to find in the winter (I don't like to order swimsuits without trying them on to be sure room for "the girls")  Mine are all gone now, friends that joined me along the way each inherited the suits....well except the "elephant skin"... my first suit  size 30....it sits in my dresser for me to run across every now and then right next to the size 6 that I now use :)  Good luck in your mission!

just keep swimming :)

Hey Swoosh!

Yeah, I still have my suit that was from a specialty designer - that fit my 474 pound body!!  I have been giving away my suits as soon as I can, and just started thinking, I wonder who else out there could help/benefit from our shrinking physiques!

If you are interested in tossing any suits to the pile, I am happy to even let you know who ends up giving it a new home!  Man, I cannot even conceive of single digit sizing!!!  Congrats on keeping it trim!!!

It is a journey huh?  Ya the first time I shopped in "other" side of the store, I just knew someone was going to come tell me I was in the wrong area....and then when stuff FIT.... lol I literally stood in the dressing room crying and called my best friend from the stall to tell her LOL we cried via AT&T for several minutes.  I even went back out into the store and got more things the same size just to make sure that one item wasn't a fluke lol  I am sure I looked like a loon.... (don't care lol).   Now I flex up and down a size but the numbers are much nicer.  You are doing great!  keep it up.  If you need a sounding board or accountability buddy send me a pm and let me know :)
