Fit Bit vs. Body Bugg
i also love my fit bit. i also wear it on my bra. i believe the body bugg has a monthly fee associated with it...whereas the fit bit does not. And yes...it does count "steps" as you are riding!
for me, it was definately worth the money. i bought it in may, and have found that it keeps me thinking about moving. like...if i've only walked 1.5 miles during the day, i will then go for a walk in the evening. it's been the best excercise investment i've made....

I've had both. Bodybugg is really good, but costs add up for using the necessary software on top of the initial cost for the unit.
Fitbit rocks. DH had been so motivated in watching me & stuff that he got these for the entire family (our mom's, sisters & the adults in their families). We've created a competition for 2012 to get the family motivated to move.

I liked my Body Bugg, but not the monthly fees for using the web site & software.

I have the BodyBugg SP, which is cool because I can check the stats on my iPhone.
But the costs to the bugg add up, as in the $79 per year monitoring fee. You have to have it or the bugg won't work long. It'll get full of "data" and the only way to delete old data is to upload it to their website, which you have to subscribe to.
I've heard good things about the FitBit too, though I don't have one.
I like my bugg, but if it goes kaput, I may try the FitBit next.

I have the BodyMedia Fit (they also make the Body Bugg). I love it. IMHO one of the best features is that I can add foods, check my progress, etc. on my iPhone via bluetooth. It's very motivating to be able to see how you're doing, both food and exercise, as the day goes on. Like the others I don't love the monthly fee but I do love the results I got from it. Last year my weight had started to slowly creep up so I got the BodyMedia Fit and lost the 10 pounds I'd put on plus another 5.
I've been happily maintaining and enjoying myself for the holidays but I just plugged my BodyMedia in to charge before I came onto the internet :-)
So, definitely worth the money and I look at the monthly fee as moitivation to use the thing so at least I'm not wasting my money.
