I'm trying to get back on the wagon. I had surgery 2007 went from 335 down to 252 and now I'm back up to 299. I don't want to hit 300 again. I've learned very well what food to cheat with. But I spent too much money for this band I need to make it work for me.  Please give me some menu's or if you have a blogg that would encourage me please let me know. I need to read something that will give me some hope.

Hi Jenny, 
I understand how you feel, I gained around 20 pounds when being unfilled for awhile, I finally decided to get back on track and now am losing steadily again.

Here are few examples of what I eat:

B: 2 srambled eggs, with a couple peices of bacon/scrambled eggs with mushrooms and onions
L: 3-4 oz hamburger with cheese, with 1/2 cup green beans/1/2 cup tuna with cheese and lettuce
D: Small piece of baked chicken 1/2 cup green beans
S:Celery with 2 tbsp natural pb/black olives with 3 oz cheese/green peppers with cream cheese filling

I try to switch it up daily so I don't get bored with the foods. I hope this helps.

Thanks Ashley. I went back and read my profile too. I wish I had logged what I ate but I didnt and I also saw that I was banded in 2005 not 07 boy time flys.

Hey girl! Glad you are back. Don't ever give up. I knew the holidays were coming so I asked my regular dr for some diet pills. I made it I have lost 12 lbs in the last 3 months. We started a wellness program where I work. We walk 15 min in the am and 15 min in the afternoon. It's not alot but it has worked. I have started using the Jillian Michael's whey protein powder for breakfast. I cup of ice 2 scoops of powder 1 sm greek yogurt 4 frozen strawberries and a squirt of Mio water enhancer peach mango. I blend it up with my ninja blender. It makes 2 full glasses of a shake. It is so good. I do this for lunch also. I eat a cheese stick and pretzels 50 cal. around 3:00 I eat a healthy choice dinner for supper and a snack before bed and drink coffee and water during the day. Uping your protein will help you lose weight. The greek yogurt is the trick because it has more protein. Try it and see if it helps. Hugs Renea
