OH MY!!!!  Indigestion; pain in between shoulder blades/beneath right shoulder blade, pain right above stomach.  This has happened three times within about two months.  Any thoughts?

I remember it being about the worse pain I ever experienced! I would hurt all the way through and had to try to sit without anything touching my back. I put off going to the surgeon until I just couldn't stand it anymore. Once you start having gallbladder attacks, they don't stop til it is out. Several different foods would trigger mine, I remember salad and chocolate being 2 of them.  Anyway, I had hurt so bad and so long that having it out was a piece of cake for me. I had it out on a Wed. morning, and I went back to work on Friday, but I do have a desk job. Good luck, don't wait too long to have it checked.

Yuck. I had gallstones while I was pregnant.  I would suggest gallbladder removal before it gets worse, if possible. When the gallstones start getting stuck in bile ducts, it gets really, really bad. Even water triggers a gallbladder attack then.

You're avoiding anything greasy, I assume? Any kind of food cooked in oil caused huge amounts of pain for me. If you can stick with fiber and low fat, you might have less incidents of pain. But, I'd definitely get that sucker out as soon as possible to avoid more pain!

Sounds like gallbladder to me.  Attacks are very painfull.   I had a stone in the bile duct which causes you to throw up bile.  Not a good experience.

Yep sounds very likely! I had a stone just alittle smaller than a golf ball and it hurt even thru the narcotic meds I take regularly for other pain issues. It was such a relief to get it out!

Thanks everyone for your input.  I just got home from the herb store and am going to try a gallbladder flush.  My next band appt is in a few weeks and I'll mention it then.  I am a little nervous that a surgery would affect my band.  Thanks again and Happy New Year!

Get a HIDAscan for the gallbladder. Mine went bad. The surgery to have it removed is easier than lap band but it will take several months for you to feel no more pain.
