Bette, I was telling Mari that maybe one year you'll give me her name. 

With the exception of my name (I usually ask for someone to volunteer to take me), all the names are totally randomly drawn.

I also, wanted to say a very big THANK YOU to my Secret Santa!!! I received mine before our cut off date, but did not open it until today. What a wonderful surprise, I received soooo many wonderful things, My Secret Santa went over and beyond and gave me so many things. I got a cake spatula, angeled that I really needed   (have been using a knife), 2 cute pretzle molds, some pearl dust for adding sparkle to flowers (and cakes), icing tip (will make icing cakes sooo much faster and easier) 2 fondant molds (I absolutely love the one with the little bird) and a surprise Starbucks mug from her state. (I just went into my first Starbucks this summer, the original one in Seattle and bought a mug, so it's so nice to have a match and I use the other one all the time, so now have a twin so I won't have to rinse the one out.)

Call me a grouch, I received an I-tune card for 15 bucks, in a regular Christmas card w/a regular stamp.  That was cheap as hell and not thoughtful at all. Probably a POS they got at some other Christmas party. If you wont check to see what a person wants, or likes, If you can't afford to play, then don't bother being a SS. 
Bette, don't give me the same SS next year, I got hosed. You should ban that person from being a SS.  

Not sure who your SS is ...but you my dear not very ungrateful and lack manners!
Tell you what, if you don't like what they sent or you don't want what they sent, send it to me or anyone else here...I am sure they will be happy and say thank you!  I'm sorry you don't like your gift that someone gave you, but I am certain your mother  taught you how to smile and say thank you for a gift you received and not look for more or feel slighted or displeased. We give what we have and for that I AM THANKFUL! Someone took the time to send you something cant say I'm glad they did.
  If $5 is that much to you PM me your address I will send it to you myself!  My gift to whomever it is you are trying to put on a hot seat.  No one is required to join in the SS, its something we do for fun... I am not your SS....just miffed by your attitude.

 Okay. Let's just say that I am stunned. Not by your gift, but by your posting this. That's all I'm gonna say.

I was fought to say thank you even if the gift wasn't what i wanted why did you post this the person may have had  a problem getting the gift you wanted you didn't get hosed like the ones that got no gift at all. be happy you got a gift.
