HELP!! Pain when eating and drinking

Two days ago I started having pain and swelling in my stomach when I eat or drink anything. I do not vomit I just have the pain. It goes away in a hour or two but I know this isnt normal. I am not too tight because 2 weeks ago I had a complete unfill. Has anyone had this happen? Advice please!! I have an appointment with the bariatric Dr on the 28th

Highest 290, Banded - 248 Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006. Regain of 28lbs 2013-14. ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

not my entire abdomen the stomach above my port swells to double or triple it's size. It is a sharp stabbing pain and feels like spasms in my stomach

Ports can be in different places. On me, if the pain was just above my port, it would be below my band and so, for me, it might not be caused by the band.

But IMO , a phone call to your doc would not come amiss. Especially with the holiday weekend coming up.

Thank you so much! I called and left a message yesterday but still have not heard back. I am feeling better today but who knows how long that will last I am going to be checked out no matter how I feel because I know my body and something is certainly not right. Will let you know as soon as I can get into the office.

I was just coming to check on you. Be a squeaky wheel if you have to, the pains you are describing are not normal, if they don't contact you back and you start to feel that pain again go to the ER at the hospital where your surgeon works, they will have to see you then!

thank you so much for checking on me the pain is not excruciating today like it has been but they never did call me back if they do not today I am just going to show up at the office tomorrow and not leave until I am seen
