A little NSV, pictures, and Great find for my "girls"

Just a little NSV....I'm amazed how sneakily my weight loss gets by me...I don't even realize I've lost inches in my boobs until I bought four new bras yesterday. These bras ROCK...I am soooooo comfortable in them too..no pinching or sore shoulders at the end of the day.

So...I am roughly 16 months post-op and still losing very slowly. The "8 min a day" helped me lose about 2 inches and 5 lbs. I'm going to do it every day now...and maybe my loss wont be so slow. Really though..I have to be glad I didn't lose all this weight too fast because while I do have a "panni" and sag in some places, I am happy the way my body is reshaping and have no intentions of plastic surgery. I don't say that with any smugness...just thankfulness that I don't have that problem. I'm also very thankful that my body has not rejected my band. I have NEVER EVER been able to keep off the weight before getting this band.

Anyway, my bra size before surgery was a tight 44DD. The bras i bought yesterday are a 40DD.
It doesn't sound like much but I'm AmAzEd at the difference this bra makes!

Thanks Wendy! I know whatcha mean...I missed a couple days in the middle because of bronchitus which I STILL can't shake off entirely.

Looking GREAT!  I've been looking for a new bra, myself.  Don't need a minimizer any more, because I had breast reduction several years ago due to back problems.  Before lapband, my belly got ahead of my boobs, a new problem to me.  Thanks to lapband that is no longer a problem.  Keep up the good work!

Thank you Debbie!  I longed to get a breast reduction years ago but over the past 20 years, I've come to get used to these...... breasts..( boobs, tits or(ack..I wander and digress!). Its been a love/hate relationship at times though because they just get in the darn way sometimes!! Now that I've lost this back-fat though, I'm kinda really liking what I see.  My DH is delighted that I'm finally liking what I see in the mirror he said last night.  He also said something else that started "Now that you are no longer fat..." but I couldn't hear the rest!! LOL

 

I know what you mean, the dreaded "f" word.  You can only say it about yourself.  No one else should, cause it's like a slap in the face.  But I am gonna look to see what Lillyett may have for me.  I went from a tight 42 DDD to a C after surgery.  After losing 45 lbs and moving my 42's to the last hook, I checked on perhaps a 38...well I was soooooo disappointed because they were ALL too small.  I have to remind myself that I'm still a "big girl" who has just lost quite a bit of weight, but I still have a good 35 lbs to go. 

oh i wasnt upset about the F word...I was just so surprised at his use of the "past tense" :)

That's amazing and  you sound so happy!!!  I have just been thinking of the new bras because I am, or maybe was, a 42C, odd size I know, and all of my bras are now on the last hook. 

Where did you go to get fitted or did you do it yourself?? I'm not modest or anything but I would want someone that knows what they're doing to touch the girls! LOL
