Do you have a soft stop?

Ahh!  Good to know another ADDer bandster--I think we talked briefly here when I was diagnosed with ADHD in 2010!!!!

I do think it's my Oh Shiny brain chatter that has kinda got between me and the sigh thing.  Plus I have trained my brain to ignore my body (especially pain), so I have figured out how to NOT listen at all.  Trying to re-learn that now, especially in light of the sigh sign and if it can help me at all with the band.

If this band is talking to me, it's super subtle.  Unless it gets moody and decides to torture me with left shoulder pain, that is!

I think my band hated the recent Puss in Boots movie, as my shoulder was on fire once the movie got started.  I have no idea what it has against Antonio Banderas.  Wait.  Banderas???

Is this some kind of conspiracy??????

I am used to real rippers too, from both ends.  I'm pretty much a 5th grade boy stuck in a 44 year old woman's body.  So that quiet sigh thing is a bit dainty and simple for my grumbling, aching, creaking, farting, burping nature.  Who knew I had a bordering on feminine quality????

In all my years of being banded I never had a soft stop. However I have heard of just a little sigh being a soft stop for some. What I need is a big bad ass guy with a baseball bat to smack me, then I'd probably get the message!

You do know that I love you, right?

Maybe my money would have been better spent hiring that bad ass guy and his bat!  Haaaa!

Or bought one of those infomercial diet monkeys!

Photobucket

If they run a BUT WAIT, IF YOU BUY NOW YOU'LL GET A SECOND DIET MONKEY promo, I'll let ya know and forward you my extra.  However, I cannot be held responsible for hair loss due to the monkey pulling on it.

Yup, I am afraid a lot of us don't listen to anything soft when it comes to food.  I would have to get hit in the mouth with the baseball bat, otherwise I would probably keep eating.

Damn, Phyllis!  Have you tried this bat?  It is to die for!!!!!  I have got to get the recipe!!!!

Subtle is not in my repertoire, as I'd probably eat the bat!!!  And this is why it's taken over two and half years to notice two sighs this week.  I'm way tooo Oh Shiny for this super-soft stop stuff.

I didn't have a soft stop for a very long time. In yr 3 I started hiccuping when I was done. Well, I really wasn't done, 'the band monster stuck inside me from hell' was done.

Three years before the band decided to speak up?  Yeeeeeesh!!!!

So who knows if the sigh thing just started recently and I happened to notice, or if it's been going on awhile and I was just oblivious to it.  I just actual sighed and it's way louder than my band-induced sigh.

I wonder if I could get a transplant.  Like put my personality in a whole new model and get a do over!

Some of us just don't listen, DENISE!!!!

Seriously, my eating experience was so unpredictable when I had a band that I never knew what was happening.  Most of the time it was either eat too much or get stuck on a few bites.  That getting stuck thing stopped me, however it didn't seem to help with weight loss.
