My best tip for weight loss with the band is, do not keep it too tight. For weight loss, stick to the rules and exercise!

I really wish I had an answer to that one! It works for some, doesn't work for most. :-(

How long have you had your band? Did you ever get restriction?

Patience , realism, a positive mindset.

Highest 290, Banded - 248   Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006.  Regain of 28lbs 2013-14.  ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

It wasn't one thing.. it was a following my surgeon's guidelines (several things)  to the best of my ability 1) eat 3oz protein, 1/2 cup veggies, high protein/low calorie snacks if needed, 2) exercise (move your body more than pre-surgery) at least 30 min a day, 3) come in for band evaluation as suggested.  4) Do not keep band overly tight. 5) Drink at least 64oz of low calorie fluid a day.. water if possible.

Good luck!

My tip is to be aware of when you are really hungry and only eat when that happens!  Never eat when you are NOT hungry - even if it means skipping a meal once in a while!

My advice is to work out- and to eat a lowcarb/lowcal/high protien diet. When I was loosing I had a lowcarb protien shake for breakfast, lean meat and veggie for lunch and dinner. I snacked on cheese sticks and nuts in moderation. Good luck!
