Wow- over a 100 pounds in 10 months is quite fast. I am sure your body is just readjusting. The last 10 pounds are always the toughest. Changing up what your eating and doing for excersise may help "trick" your body into loosing those last pesky 10. Good luck and happy holidays.

Hang in there ---- you know, not knowing your body, it is possible that your goal is not realistic based on how much excess skin you have.

Keep doing what you are doing --- logging food, avoiding un-necessary liquid calories, some exercise -- and try to get through the holidays without a gain -- instead of being discouraged by no loss.

You have had amazing success and I hope you will celebrate it instead of letting 10 pounds disappoint and discourage you.

I say relax and enjoy the holidays and work at those last 10 lbs after the first of the year! Sometimes all it takes is to step back for awhile and just let your body adjust, especially when you've done as well as you have. That is alot of weight to lose in 10 months so let your body regroup and get adjusted again. Then after the first of the year shake it up, change your exercise routine and maybe even your diet some. I do know that after awhile our muscles adjust to a certain exercise and aren't working as hard once they do so when you can change what your exercise is it will often make them work harder. I'd also suggest low carbing it for awhile that always works for me. Like some of the others have said maybe this is where your body feels comfortable so listen to it and chillax for a few weeks. You've done amazing!

Thank you Hislady for your kind message...I will just take this time to reflect and enjoy the season and quit putting so much pressure on myself.  I will go at it again in the new year..Happy Holidays to you and yours and thanks!!

Not everyone reaches goal, and that's ok. you lost over 90% of your EWL an that is awesome. I think sometimes our bodies have their own "goal" weight. It is what it is. You might never reach your goal, or you could make yourself miserable trying to reach it and maintain it what it's not really where you are meant to be. Keep in mind that there are Lap-Banders out there that have losses like.........25 pounds in 2 years. 35 pounds in 3 years. 0 pounds in 4 years. You are one of the lucky ones if your band has caused your weight loss!

As far as the depression, the holidays can be a very stressful time. Don't make it any more stressful than it has to be. Cut back on decorating, baking, presents..........whatever you have to do to make it less stressful and more enjoyable for YOU!
