Yeah, definitely don't overdo. Take some time for yourself. (And, hey, you have a good 'excuse'! You had surgery! Make everyone wait on you! )

When I had my band removed, I was in my nice, private clinic room, but got up and tried to put my shoes on. I ended up with them on the wrong feet, knots in the shoelaces, phone on the floor. Apparently I was trying to call everyone I know, but kept dropping the phone!  Drugs make me crazy.

But I was bound and determined to haul buns outta there!  I'm lucky they didn't put me in handcuffs.

Take care. Heal up!

Quick suggestion for you. I know the recliner was my best friend for a wk. or 2 after surgery. It was much more comfy than the bed, especially since I tend to sleep on my side. If you have one, you might see if you sleep better in that for awhile.

Hope you recover quickly.

I was sore for about two weeks. Not terrible pain, just some in the side of my stomach where one of my incisions was. I took pain medicine for about 5 days past surgery and then, tylenol and used a heating pad.
Take it easy and no matter what follow your doctor's diet recommendations...don't eat anything your not suppose too.
Hugs!
