What's your Ideal Size/Weight

When I first got my band I was a size 26, so getting to a size 16 was enough for me to giggle with joy, but when I surpassed that I shocked, my smallest size was squeezing into a size 8, but it was easier for me to maintain a size 12 and still wear cute clothes since I am 5'7 inches tall.

I am still satisfied with my overall weight loss but would like to lose a few pounds and get back into smaller clothes by next spring.

Thank god I can still get a fill, I am planning on getting one after the holidays to jump start my weight loss again, I am shooting for a size 8 again, I never had an ideal weight, as long as I was happy with the way I looked and felt great, it did not matter what the scale said.

What's your ideal size/weight?

good question! I am hoping to get to size 14.
I had lost 107 pounds about 20 years ago and know that 140 is NOT where I need to be.
People were asking me if I was sick.
I want to be healthy not sick lookiing.
I just bought a size 20 pants a few weeks ago and was surprised.
(wearing mostly skirts since I do not want to waste money yet on clothes when they fall off I guess I will.)

I have never put a ideal weight or size on me. I think that puts to much pressure on me saying I have to do that .

I just want to be at a place where Im healthy and go do things without freaking out if Im going to fit into something, or fit into a amusement park ride.  That is all I want :o)

SteelerFan, that is one way to put it, I've never had "set goal" weight, I just always wanted to be in a size where I was healthy and looked decent in my clothes, you have done great so far and I am sure in the next year or few months all your dreams will come true!

I went from a very tight 26/28 and currently 14/16 tops and snug 16 pants ... I would dearly love to lose another 30 .... but my body is resisting. I will be bummed if it doesn't happen but I won't get depressed about it. I recently had a fill that made me too tight, nothing solid would stay down, lost 5 pounds real quickly before I got some out. I won't risk my bad by keeping things that tght to lose. I don't need to be a size 8 and I am 5'6"

Congrats on your loss so far!! You are like me, I am actually very HAPPY right now, my philosophy has always been.....I will settle with a size 12/14 and KEEP MY BAND forever and still be able to enjoy nice clothing and still be healthy and keeping it adjusted properly THAN KEEPING IT TOO TIGHT AND getting to GOAL and suffer band slippage and have nothing and end up gaining every pound back...I've seen this happen to so many lap banders.

You are a very smart woman....try mixing things up, whenever I got stuck in a rut, I will increase my walking or lift weights and add more proteins and reduce all carbs for 2 weeks.

My ideal is a size 10. I wear that comfortably and sometimes even they are baggy. Most 8's give me muffin top and I hate that. However, I need a large/xl in tops since my shoulders are broader than they were years ago. I also have more weight on my torso than my hips and butt. Over all  I am happy. I wish I could get this torso down but it would take a lot of effort and I can live where I am. It makes it difficult to buy a suit, but so be it.
