Nausea at night anyone?
This is what I think is happening..... Any similar experiences?
I have catarrh, not bad, not a full blown cold, not blowing my nose, just mucus in my head. I very rarely get colds and so this may even be the first since being banded.
In the day I am fine but at night feel queasy. I prop myself up on pillows but unless I stay upright, the nausea persists. It is back of the throat nausea. It isn't heartburn or acid reflux and I am not the tiniest bit tight, on the contrary.
My belief is that mucus is trickling down my throat. In the daytime, gravity lets it go, but in bed, it is pooling above the band. ( How revolting!)
Seem likely?

Happily banded since May 2006. Regain of 28lbs 2013-14. ALL GONE!
But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,
Steelerfan, thanks for replying.. I'm not all worried about the illness part- it really is just one of those very mild winter things, no pain or illness.
I was just curious to know if people have found this ( possible) effect of night time nausea caused by mucus pooling above the band.

Ah, good! Not good you are gagging! Good that I am not the only one. I really didn't think I had a band problem as such and the explanation I had come up with seemed logical to me! I might try a decongestant med to see if that helps.
