Hey, just wanted to stop in and say hey! I haven't been on here in about a year. Life is good!!! Most people come back when they are having problems. I can very happily say I'm not. i haven't lost nor gained. Still have that same old 20 lbs that I wanted to lose, but I guess that ok. I hope everyone has a great holiday season. I didn't know I could enjoy life this much!!!

Glad u r doing well.  Those last 20 seem to be the hardest.  Good that u r not having any problems.  I am doing well right now myself.  Working toward getting back to my lowest weight after a slight setback.  Learned a lot about myself and how to work but not overwork my band. If you tighten a screw too much you can strip it.  Some lessons have to be learned.  I am on the right track now.  I'm keeping my band not too tight, working for just right.  Life is good.  Take care,
Z

 Good to hear!

Do keep on popping in! Newbies need to see the successes!

Highest 290, Banded - 248   Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006.  Regain of 28lbs 2013-14.  ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

Good to hear another story about someone doing good. Just the way I needed to start my surgery day. This place needs a Like button!

What time is your surgery ? Are you already at the hospital or are you still at home ?

Bexie, good luck with your surgery today.  I've had mine for almost 11 months, and so far, though I'm a slow loser, I'm very happy.  I feel better than I have in years.

Thanks for checking in Janice!  I so happy that everything is going well.  Welcome to the challenge of losing the last 20 lbs.  I'm right there with you and I'm 3 years out.  But my therapist likes to ask me, "So what happens if you don't lose the last 20 lbs?"  The answer is nothing!  I'm happy, healthy and living a life I couldn't even imagine 100+ lbs ago!  As long as I maintain I've decided to not stress the last 20.

Holiday blessings!
Lisa O.

Lap Band surgery Nov. 2008, SW 335. Lost 116 lbs.  LB removal May 2013 gained 53 lbs. Revisied to RNY October 14, 2013, new SW 275.

Thats me Lisa. Losing or rather not losing the last 20 isn't the end of the world. As long as I'm not gaining, I'm happy. I could go and get another fill (haven't had one in over a year), but I am happy with being able to eat what I like just not too much. I still have times where I let myself get to hungry and eat to fast and get stuck just not often.

 Hi there!

I could have written your post and Lisa's...down to my therapist saying "so what if you don't lose the last 20, maintainance is the key"  SO I am going with that and livng a life I could only imagine 2 yrs ago.  I'll take it :)
