Deleting. Posted in anger and hurt! Never a good idea. Childish!

Tried to delete subject title but it won't let me!

Highest 290, Banded - 248   Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006.  Regain of 28lbs 2013-14.  ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

Kate,

You and I have had words in the past, but I agree with you on this one! You've done well with your band and have not suffered any problems and you are helping out with of the goodness of your heart to help others, I do not get involved in "lap band vs Sleeve" because I think if someone is not really set on the band it is not my job to do THEIR research.

I only responded to that "Confused about the band thread" to clarify and let anyone seeking the band know UPFRONT it is a tool, I try to sway those who are seeking an easier way out to choose another surgery other than the band because I get sick of the bashing, if people KNEW UPFRONT what they were getting into and not just picking a surgery because their insurance will not pay for the one they want....the band complication rates would go way down.

I chose the band because I wanted it, not because I had no other choice...my insurance would have paid 100 percent for any other weight loss surgery I believed in my tool and done my best to work it and it worked for me.

Kate,

I wouldn't even come here if it weren't for your posts.
They are a daily tutorial for the banded.

The heck with a disrespectful nubie.

I, for one, am grateful for your dedicated input.

I missed the original post, but am getting the drift that you received a nasty PM? Just wanted to also post my support. You are one of the most helpful bandsters around and your support is a huge boost to this forum.

Best,
Lindsey

I didn't see the post before you deleted it Kate, but whomever sent you a nasty PM is out of their ******g mind. You are one of the sweetest and most supportive bandsters on this board.

Block that miserable coward and I hope they don't get the band because if they do they are going to lose out on all your wisdom and AMAZING support.

Un******g real the nerve of some ********

Hey do think I used up my quota of profanity today, cause I got a whole lot more where that came from

You rock, don't let anyone tell you different! Delete the PM and move on, they win if you dwell on it!

You are such an asset here Kate.  A nasty PM sent to you says a lot more about the person that sent it than you.  I wish everyone that posts here could be as even keeled, and magnanimous as you.

Just tell the meany that each person's journey is their own. You are not stealing her sneakers, and she can't have your heels. You take one road, and she takes the other, and you both will get where you need to be.
