High stomach ache...sharp pains
If it's high up, that's where the band usually is. If you're dizzy and nauseous, there's a good chance it's a vasovagal syncope reaction... which occurs when the Vagus nerves get irritated. And the Vagus nerves run through the diaphragm, which the top portion of your stomach or the band itself sometimes touches.
I feel like a broken record... but it's what I always say. The band is in close proximity to the diaphragm... where the Vagus nerves are. The Vagus nerves affect almost everything in the body. It can cause dizziness, drop in blood pressure, copious saliva, sweating... LOTS of side effects.
I think you need to be checked for a band slip. Or it could just be the presence of the band. Either way, you should address this with your doc. Feel better soon.
